I
happened to be in our shop area shooting some pressure vessel work and ran across
one of our pipefitters cutting pipe. The arc (bright light) is so intense, that
often welders who work inside a section of pipe will get sunburned on the back
of their neck. Looking straight into the arc will also cause burns in the eye,
so protective eye equipment (For both pipefitter AND photographer) is mandatory.
I like this shot simply for it's "mood".
