McAbee offers 22 years
of experience in providing industry with modularized construction.
Our modular group offers
3D CAD layout assistance using your P&ID's. McAbee has over 20,000 square
feet of specially designed assembly area for the construction of your project.
Modularized
Construction
Offers:
Above,
a 770 ton modular structure with a 50'X50' footprint and 110' feet tall stands
completed at McAbee's Tuscaloosa facilities. The structure actually had 14 sub-units
that made up the entire project. The unit went from concept to completed in
14 months and was shipped by barge to the customer and reassembled at their
Texas plant site in a week. McAbee oversaw initial construction and shipping
logistics. Many disciplines can be incorporated into a modular project. Mechanical
assembly, heat tracing, insulation and electrical can be assembled within a
limited space while maximizing functionality.

Many
of McAbee's customers assume that all we build is BIG modules. This just isn't
true and we'd like to set the record straight! McAbee can (and does) fabricate
modules as big as the one pictured at left, but as small as a Volkswagen too.
The bottom line is that regardless of the size, McAbee is a recognized expert
for process modules and our philosophy is to look for ways to modularize a project
when others can't (or worse yet, won't). Why do we do this? Simple. The average
modular project reduces your costs by an average of 30%.
